Annabelle Comes Home was no match for Toy Story 4 at this weekend’s box office. Disney and Pixar’s sequel was able to take in $57.9 million in its second weekend in theaters, which brings the worldwide total to a massive $360.5 million. Though the sequel did not do as well as initially estimated, it has been able to secure some big numbers overseas.

As for Annabelle Comes Home, it was never expected to beat Toy Story 4 in its box office debut. It took the second position with a solid $20.3 million. Reception has been mixed for the horror sequel.

Yesterday was able to secure the third spot with $17 million. The movie is about a man who wakes up in a world where the Beatles never existed, so he takes their songs as his own. The debut is also Danny Boyle’s highest to date. Disney’s Aladdin remake took number four this weekend after bringing in $9.3 million. This brings the global total to $830.5 million, which is pretty outstanding considering the first reactions to the promotional material were less than stellar.

The fifth spot at this weekend’s box office goes to The Secret Lives of Pets 2, which brought in an additional $7 million. So far, the sequel has been able to pull in $223 million globally since its release at the beginning of the month. Men in Black International continues to fall down the top ten, but was able to secure $6.5 million this weekend. The reboot took the sixth spot and has not been able to capture the magic of the original series and has been getting mostly negative reviews from fans and critics.

Avengers: Endgame reenters the top ten this weekend at number seven with $5.5 million. The epic movie was reintroduced to theaters with some bonus material in an effort to take down James Cameron’s Avatar as the highest grossing movie of all time. As of this writing, Endgame sits at $2.757 billion, which is still short of Avatar‘s $2.787 billion. It looks like Marvel Studios is going to have a tougher time than initially believed to take over the top spot.

As for the eighth spot this weekend, the Child’s Play remake took in an additional $4.2 million. The horror movie fell from the second position and is not expected to be a box office monster. The Elton John biopic Rocketman fell to number nine this weekend with $3.8 million. And finally, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum took the tenth spot this weekend after earning $3.1 million. This brings the global haul to $303.6 million. You can check out the rest of this weekend’s numbers over at Box Office Mojo.
